Substance Abuse Treatment

 

Associates For Psychotherapy offers substance abuse programs for clients who want self-improvement or for those with community obligations. All substance abuse programs are licensed by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division of the Colorado Department of Human Services.

COMPREHENSIVE ADULT OUTPATIENT SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT PROGRAM

PSYCHOEDUCATION GROUP:

Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

TREATMENT GROUP:

Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

This State-certified program offers a four-hour-a-week, program. It is set in a ten-week model that has been designed for the working adult. The program includes individual therapy sessions and group psycho-educational and therapy process groups each week for ten weeks. The program design fits most work schedules and can help individuals obtain sobriety without the restriction of an inpatient confinement.
Individual sessions can be scheduled with a number of the qualified staff with group treatment provided by Sadie Lopez, MSW, LCSW, CACIII and Barry Quinn, Ph.D. The program director is David Ferrell, MEd, CAC, III. This program is appropriate for individuals 17 years or older upon evaluation by the professional staff. Most insurances accepted.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE AFTERCARE

This one hour process group is a program designed to support sobriety after our traditional ten week comprehensive program is complete. This program is intended to support the individual for an ongoing period of time, usually six months, after intensive treatment is complete. Individuals who have completed treatment at other facilities can also attend this program.

COMPREHENSIVE TROUBLED TEEN OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

(Substance Use Treatment, with components of Anger Management, Victim Empathy and Remorse, and Criminal and Addictive Thinking Education/Treatment)

Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This State-certified program offers 2.5 hour-a-week of substance use treatment, in addition to multifamily therapy hours when deemed necessary to administer. It is set for adolescents to attend after school. The program includes individual and family therapy sessions and group psycho-educational/treatment each week for twenty weeks. In addition, families will participate in three multifamily process groups. The program design helps adolescents obtain sobriety without the restriction of an inpatient confinement or residential treatment.
Individual sessions can be scheduled with a number of the qualified staff with group education provided by Emmet F. Bellville, III, MA, MA, NCC, LPC and family and multifamily therapy provided by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Carol Ludwig, MA, LMFT. The program director is David Ferrell, MEd, CAC, III. This program is appropriate for individuals 17 years and younger. Some 18 year olds will be admitted to the program, if deemed appropriate for the group. 20 weeks of aftercare follows completion of the 20-week program. Most insurances accepted.
