CLINICAL AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Active member the American Counseling Association, the Colorado Counseling Association, the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, and the Colorado Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
PHILOSOPHY OF TREATMENT:
Carole has a special place in her heart for Blended Families, and considers her own Blended Family, "My best work." She takes a systemic or "big family pix" approach to her counseling, even when she is working one-on-one: "Systems therapists believe the problems exist primarily in the interaction between individuals, and that therapy is not about placing blame," she says. Her thumbnail philosophy: "Life is what you make it."
