Anger Management Part I (Men/Women)

This 8-week program is designed to teach individuals how to take responsibility for one's own actions. Belief systems, the origin of anger and how to recognize the cycle of anger are all topics to be discussed. Problem solving, positive ways to vent anger and other coping skills will be included. Specific entry points are maintained during the eight-week period.

Anger Management Part II (Men/Women)

Tuesdays from 6-7:30 pm

This 4-week adjunct course to Anger Management I helps individuals who believe they need further assistance in the area of anger management. Advanced techniques are reviewed.

CO-PARENTING SEMINAR
(For Divorcing Couples)

Last Two Wednesdays of the Month from 5:15-6:45pm

Divorce often leaves parents unable to make compromises in the interest of their children. This two-week program will provide communication, negotiation and compromise skills. No parent intentionally wants to hurt their children and impair their future but the conflict between parents very often is so toxic that it can poison the whole family. Learn the skills to keep the kids out of the middle. This program repeats the last two Wednesdays of each month.

 

 

WOMEN'S TRANSITION GROUP
(Self Esteem group for Women) (This group can be adapted to include anger management skills with certificate for anger management available).

The focus of this eight-week program is developing self acceptance - learning to look inside to identify strengths, skills and personal power. All adult women can benefit from the lessons and gain self-esteem, perspective and growth no matter where they are in their life's journey. For those women with anger issues the group is adapted to include an anger management component, certificate available. Specific entry points are maintained during the eight-week period.

 

TEEN SUCCESS

A series of six classes that inform and prepare adolescents for positive experiences in six major areas of their lives, the Teen Success Seminars can help teens to develop very positive outcomes in their lives. This series is so informative and is presented in such a way to invite the adolescent to learn what will work for them. Specific entry points are maintained during the six-week period.

SENIOR'S SUPPORT

Adeline Armijo, RN, MSW, LCSW

Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m.

This group helps with ongoing support for seniors through all the ups and downs that come with aging. A minimal fee for clients, $5.00 per group and insurance billing will help seniors as long as they need it.
