Phyllis is a Registered Nurse and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her nursing degree from St Joseph ’s Hospital in Denver and later earned a masters degree in Guidance and Counseling at Adam State College in Alamosa. She has worked as a nurse, teacher, and psychotherapist. She has experience in hospital settings and our outpatient office. Phyllis believes that everyone is unique and possesses the ability to change and grow in ways that will improve their lives. She practices solution-focused therapy to offer new alternatives and learn new living skills. A part time practice helps Phyllis offer early day and evening appointments. Phyllis works with couples and individuals. She specializes in work with adolescents and adults.
