CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
David Ferrell is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as Certified Addictions Counselor III. David’s background is in mental health, performing individual, group, couples/marriage, family and substance abuse treatment. He is the Director of the Substance Abuse Treatment Program at Associates for Psychotherapy and Education, PC. David is part of the administrative team and provides programs and seminars.
PHILOSOPHY OF TREATMENT
As a Professional Counselor, David emphasizes the identification and utilization of a client’s strengths to assist with recovery and mental wellness. David uses a cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach with his clients which incorporated the use of healthier thought patterns to facilitate desired changes in feelings and behavior.
